real brides that went for white also i love the hotel zaza and one of the brides did an outdoors americanized ceremony and then the reception was done desi style inside but here’s what i’ve seen and run into. the bride with the white stuff tied on her arm was used in that bridal magazine Me&My wedding for some photographer named jehangir that ended up using her wedding pics. however the pics below are from her sister’s wedding when she wore her valima outfit again.

Where did you get the third last picture from? I know her personally and I'm not to sure if she would want her pictures posted on here. Maybe you can edit it to just her outfit, unless you know her as well. (beige and green)

White can look so elegant for a valima. My cousin's wife wore a white dress with pearl jewelry and she looks liek a mughal shehzadi. She's gorgeous so that helps too. You can't go wrong with white or offwhite. Try finding a gharara in a cut and kaam that u really like and even if it's in a different color, u can alway have it made in white. So don't limit ur search to just white and good luck. Happy hunting!!!

^ have u bought any bridal magazines? i remember seeing a white outfit from Mongas in Southall in Asiana bridal, it was gorgeous!! ru planning on having a seperate civil ceremony? what colour ru planning to wear there? im not even engaged to my other half yet but im planning to save ivory/white for the civil ceremony lol

Hi lipstick! I havent looked through any bridal magazines or even been to southall and green st because I want a really pakistani kind of outfit and Ive heard alot of the stuff here is more cheaper looking. I really need to stop listening to people and just go have a look!
We are just having a mehndi, bharat and walima. Our civil ceremony is going to be whenever. The ivory/white i am looking for will be for the walima. How is your hunt coming along for the white outfit or is it just an idea for now? x

just an idea for now! tbh there are not many bridal stores that have pakistani style outfits. my khala is getting married in july inshAllah and ive been shopping with her and its been soo hard for her to choose a bridal outfit cos she wanted something more pakistani but most of the shops seem to sell the same fishtail lenghas with crystals. in the end she got an emerald green and gold fishtail. she was actually looking for a white/ivory too. i think the best thing to do is to just find any outfit u like in terms of cut, style, kaam etc and then have it custom ordered in white/ivory. they can show u fabric samples so u are happy with the colour/shade.
What do we think of this for the Walima? I know it isnt white but I just found it in another thread! Is it too cute and less stunning?
