Whiskey export from Pakistan?

Re: Whiskey export from Pakistan?

Allah says in the Holy Quran
*5:90. O you who believe! Khamr, Maysir, Ansab, and Azlam are a Rijs of Shaytan's handiwork. So avoid that in order that you may be successful.) *

Imam Ahmad recorded that Ibn `Umar said that the Messenger of Allah said,

(Ten matters related to Khamr were cursed. Khamr itself was cursed, whoever drinks it, its server, seller, buyer, brewer, who asks for it to be brewed, whoever carries it, whomever it is carried to and whoever consumes its price.) Abu Dawud and Ibn Majah recorded this Hadith. Ahmad recorded that Ibn Umar said, "Once, the Messenger of Allah went out and I went out with him. I walked to his right, but Abu Bakr came along and I gave way to him, and Abu Bakr was walking on the Prophet's right, while I was walking on his left. ThenUmar came along and he was walking on the Prophet's left, since I gave way to him. The Messenger of Allah then found a leather skin hanging containing alcohol, so he asked for a knife and ordered that the skin be cut open. He then said,

Khamr was cursed, and so are those who drink it, serve it, sell it, buy it, carry it, have it carried to them, brew it, have it brewed and consume its price.)''

' muslim kids '.........? I've never seen any ' kids ' working in McDonalds.

Re: Whiskey export from Pakistan?

Can you see which section this post is in? This is NOT religion. It is Business & Economics.

You have to understand not everyone appreciates your lectures on Islam. You cant go to every thread and proclaim this is halal or not. It's disrespectful and condescending. It's not appreciated when you barge into threads only to transform them into a pile of quranic verses. Please stop.

If you want to debate what Islam thinks about whisky make a thread about it in Religion.

P.S. I dont care what Imam Ahmad said. Dont put the words of some Imam on a pedestal. He's not God. He is no better at interpreting a line than you or me. If you want to talk about this make a new forum in Relgion or PM me. Dont respond to it here.

Re: Whiskey export from Pakistan?

^^ That will NEVER happen.. thats the sole consolation in hareem's life.. you have no idea how much satisfaction she gets by posting stuff from the quran and the hadits EVERYWHERE SHE CAN... shes a soldier of allah living in a kafir country.. she can't go to the streets and say all this stuff.. soo gupshup it is !!

Re: Whiskey export from Pakistan?

Well yes its quite embarrasing that we have this in our country. I was extremely ashamed once when my gora teacher told me that he really liked murree beer when he visited Pakistan ..........

Re: Whiskey export from Pakistan?

why is is embarassing? if he is not a muslim he should be able to drink.

I think there are plenty of other things that happen in Pakistan that we can be embarassed about, so lets not worry too much about beer shall we?

Re: Whiskey export from Pakistan?

ohh I see

A hindu brother asked a question about alcohol being haram in Islam and I gave the answer. Can you see that?

You should start that thread bcoz you're the one who is denying the ayah of Allah ta'ala.

Re: Whiskey export from Pakistan?

We are supporting and encouraging alcohol consumption in Pakistan through our words, this is embarrasing.

Re: Whiskey export from Pakistan?

My point is that when some one tell u that the alcohol he consumed in ur country was top class yet he know I dont drink becuz driking in not allowed in Islam and banned in my country.

Re: Whiskey export from Pakistan?

^hmmm......i understand.

Re: Whiskey export from Pakistan?

Hareem...just chill.

I think, Fraudia ( is a muslim?) has highlighted it correctly and I tend to agree with him that even for Muslims it depends on individual....i.e. matter lies between him and God.

So, as long as individual has reached his adult age, it should be left on him to decide, rather than punishing him with some harsh laws.
If a spiritual person wants to abstain from it, he will abstain regardless, whether alcohol is being sold or not.

Everyone doesn't become drunkard in secular countries, it simply means leaving a person to decide on his own conscious.

Re: Whiskey export from Pakistan?

^ yes, you can agree with Mr fraudia or hskhan or Marylin Manson....I dont have any problem with it.

You asked a question I gave an answer.........its up to you to agree or disagree.

Re: Whiskey export from Pakistan?

unfortunate to see that in pakistan. you are muslim while conducting business as much as your while reciting Quran e kareem, so stupidity is personified in horse sh!t khan. non muslims can drink what ever they like, muslims shouldn't be selling, producing or being party to it in any form. period. each to his own.

Re: Whiskey export from Pakistan?

If you think its lecture on islam then go on an indian discussion forum. Islam is a complete way of life…not just confined to the religious section. Yes everything on islam is and will always be appreciated!!!

Thanks …hareem01 for posting. Keep it up and JazakAllah!

The seculars can go:desimunda:

Re: Whiskey export from Pakistan?

i think people should keep their religious beliefs to themselves.... why impose it on others? if you are religious then fine dont drink dont do whatever but theres no need to lecture others and impose your will on them.. its their own choice! u can inform them what your opinion is and that should be it.

Re: Whiskey export from Pakistan?

Alcohol is not only a religious issue but a social and moral issue..........Do you not try to stop an evil?.....if you dont then stop calling yourself a muslim.

Re: Whiskey export from Pakistan?

Really? Then let him/her brew her own beer…why should mass production be allowed? :hoonh:

This isn’t really about individual choice. The state may or may not sanction the production, or even the distirbution, of such things.

Re: Whiskey export from Pakistan?

Ironic...this qualifies as a religious belief...

Re: Whiskey export from Pakistan?

Backward? LOL...what are you, a viceroy of the British Empire? Soon your going to be calling us 'darkies' and moanin' about your 'burden'...

Re: Whiskey export from Pakistan?

Althought this is the traditional opinion, I'm a bit more mod...and thik this idear should be done away with. Non-Muslims should be able to drink in Pakistan when Rastafarians can do the herb in America...so one law for all...it is the modern way.

Re: Whiskey export from Pakistan?

are you now abandoning the religious argument and cluthcing at straws?
it started off as a thread in business about whiskey production in pakistan. ppl used religion as a basis, and now when religion does not seem to be holding up we are going in other directions.

sure man, so I expect that you will be our protesting ppls right to drink alcohol and smoke dope. kewl.

more power to you, we are half way there with Pakistan allowing non muslims to drink, so u only have to focus on US now.
