Whiskey export from Pakistan?

Re: Whiskey export from Pakistan?

Hareem

is our responsibility to stop this social and moral evil limited to Pakistan or in the countries we live in today. when are you planning to do a hunger strike in front of your local pub?

Re: Whiskey export from Pakistan?

Pakistan is supposed to be an Islamic country and not Britain.

Re: Whiskey export from Pakistan?

wait a minute, but you said it as a social and moral issue, u live in britain, does ot stop being a social and moral issue in UK?

I mean if it is from a religious angle then islam allows non muslims to make, buy, sell, drink alcohol.

but then ppl run to health issues, and then can say well a few glasses of red wine are supposed to be good for you, there is some other research that in moderate quantities alcohol can be good for you, so then we run from the health angle and run to a social and moral ill.

and if it is a social and moral ill and you feel storngly about it than it does not matter what country you are in and whether it is a msulim country or not, what is right is right. So why sit back and not do anything about it in UK.

Re: Whiskey export from Pakistan?

I do not support alcohol in any way in Britain, whenever I get a chance I speak against it.

Re: Whiskey export from Pakistan?

on a religious, health or moral basis? ;)

Re: Whiskey export from Pakistan?

Alchohol:

According to Quran's explanation, contains more harm then its benefits.

Harms: starting from being drunk & sleeping on pavement to, getting raped being drunk not knowing the father of child born in result. Health risk (if used above certain amount) Death in blackout etc. Level can be from minor to extreme.

Benefits (discovered so far): Small consumption is best for health around 100 ml of diluted wine (4 to 7% mark on bottle) or similar capacity of any type of alchohol. Cleans & thinners blood, opens arteries, increases thinking powers etc.

Problem: While drinking, many cannot control & exceed the limit & tend towards Harms, so result - best is to avoid it as much as possible. We clearly see very few benefits compared to harms. Unless a human is in strict control for benefits no point trying because little mistake & u cross the benefits line & enter harm.

But Here we are talking about something else, not religious point of view about consumption but we are talking about business point of view.

Why India exports beef? Isn't it against their religion ? Why Malaysia (muslim country with more than 60% muslims) exports Pork?

This is demand & supply rule - so whats wrong if (Non-Muslim) pakistanis manufacture/brew alchohol & sell to (non-muslims) & our country get profit ??? Even though I dont care who is making it selling it to whom as far as person who buys is over 18.

Peen walay janay tay Rab janay. Baqi sab kuch tay mittee pao.

Re: Whiskey export from Pakistan?

I'll go even further on Najim's note and say:

What is stopping MUSLIMS from making and importing Alcohol? Dont Muslim children flip haram burgers in McDonalds around the world? Dont Muslim countries export haram tobacco around the world?

Re: Whiskey export from Pakistan?

^ Yep non muslims are free to brew it and sell it to non muslims. But on a state level , government should make sure that muslims are not in either's sellers group nor in buyers.

Rest i do believe you are not suppose to set video cameras in your neighbour's yard to catch him drinking in order to start a witch hunt.

Re: Whiskey export from Pakistan?

Croquet that is a slippery slopr because you ask govt to enforce that, and soon you will have ppl demanding that govt prevent muslims from working in banks because there is interest involved.

Re: Whiskey export from Pakistan?

Lets deal with one obstacle at a time. Its already not legal so why open up new can of worms? When it comes to bank we'll deal with that too.

Re: Whiskey export from Pakistan?

it depends.

Re: Whiskey export from Pakistan?

hahaha........Taaday teh vi mitti pao.

Re: Whiskey export from Pakistan?

Re: Whiskey export from Pakistan?

Meray tay mittee paan tussi 30 ya 35 saal baad ana, ajay naee.

Re: Whiskey export from Pakistan?

i think that ppl should first try and solve all the other problems we have in pakistan before worrying so much bout who likes to have a cold beer in front of the tv in the evening once in a while

Re: Whiskey export from Pakistan?

covering up is for losers. I go out to the same corporate events and I dont frink, ppl know it and respect that. pretending to drink alcohol to fit in while one is sipping on soda is for wankers.

Re: Whiskey export from Pakistan?

Oh no no - wankers are those who pretend to be drunk on soda :D

Re: Whiskey export from Pakistan?

How does this stop you from solving other problems?
While solving other problems one shouldn't be careless enough to create new ones.

Re: Whiskey export from Pakistan?

agreed.

Re: Whiskey export from Pakistan?

yeah ..plonkers are the ones who pretend that they are drinking alcohol when they are sipping on soda.
