I have a feeling my MIL will insist I sit in the front because she's very sweet and non-confrontational like that. I'll still make sure she sits where ever she's comfortable. I don't see the hang up of sitting in the back or front. 'though sitting in the front does give you more leg room. Oh, well.

Mother-in-law can get the front seat. I wont make an issue. Balkay, I will make her sit in the front with my husband.

With brothers and sisters does the brother usually sit at the front?

Mine had the annoying habit of always doing this (without asking).. till I pointed it out and asked why..
