You do know that these versions are based on translations just like the Quran is, right? They call them Bible versions, you call them Quranic Tafsir. It's two of the same thing! Most Chritians do not speak Hebrew or Greek just as most Muslims do not speak Arabic. The Bible supposedly has 8 versions, Quran has a million interpretations, translations, or tafsir. The Hebrew & Aramaic Bible is not lost, it is still preserved but hardly anybody can understand it.
As a matter of fact, all versions are available. It's not like they "changed" the holy book and presented a new one altogether. Christians have the decency to admit that some words/verses have indeed been replaced. Jews and neither Muslims have ever admitted that their scriptures could have been corrupted while being edited after the death of their prophets. Muslims claim that Bible was given to Jesus, wrong. No book was revealed to Jesus per historical records. So it doesn't even make sense to compare the Bible to Torah or the Quran because the bible itself is a collection of events, words of Jesus which came after the death of Jesus (whoops! I mean ressurection) There IS a lot of room for error.
I don't believe in Christianity or any religion for that matter, but I do believe Jesus had better morals than Muhammad and Moses. He did not command his companions to write every word of it and then memorize it. Jesus did not have made to order revelations. If Jesus was how he's portrayed in the Bible, Gospels, and the Quran, then Jesus was a completely different man of character than Muhammad.
If the Quran has not been changed then why are there so many contradictions? I guess it's no point asking that question because Muslims don't even want to admit that there are contradictions. It's surely a miracle that inspite of these contraditions there are still 1.3 billion followers.
Absolutely wrong.
The different versions of bible are not "tafsirs" but versions of events of life of Jesus according to different authors, who do not even agree on geneology of their supposed God. There were hundreds of versions of bible of which a handful were canonized.
There are no historical records of Jesus available, unless you consider bible as a historical record, which would be laughable, as its nothign more than mythology. So you cannot say that Jesus received or did not receive a book.
Ofcourse Jesus was a completely different character than Muhammad pbuh, because his circumstances were different. He had 12 followers, who could hardly dare to assert themselves. However, what christians think Jesus would havebeen had he had military might is evident from what they describe he will do when he comes second time, which is, he will exterminate majority of mankind from face of earth unless you happen to be an israelite.
There are no contradictions in Quran, and i know you parrot a few verses copy pasted from anti-islam websites who have o idea of the meaning.
Quran has been unaltered and that is something all the sane scholars of history also attest to.
