There are different views about the nature of these incidents. My point is the Prophet never used these miracles while preaching. Whenever, he was asked for miracles by non-belivers, he told them (he was asked to tell people), miracles are from Allah and he doesn’t have any miracle. He mentioned that people from other prophets were shown miracles (Hazrat Moosa’s ummat was shown more than a dozen miracles), but they didn’t believe prophets that lead to punishment. The prophet’s (SAW) real miracle was raising voice against social evils and bringing the change in society within short span of time. Nothing supernatural, he was able to do due to revelation of the God.

I get you. For the people of the world this is still a miracle (even if its from Allah) as this is something unusual. If you tell an atheist about Meraj he will start evaluating the incident using science (like Einstein’s equations E=mC2). The Big bang theory would give you a hint how they believe humans were created. If according to them they were created out of no where, then there’s no concept of life after death.
