At a higher level, the Philosophy forum appears to be turning into misrepresentation of what atheists are about. Have we run out of topics that makes us think? Do we have to turn every thread into why miracles are believable, because we should have faith?

As for the ship, it is obvious the poster meant it was “absurdly small” relative to the task. It is unfortunate use of words such as shameful used in this context. Debate should preferably be free flowing.

There is no dearth of topics. Let people clear their thoughts in a better way. After all, we have so many topics challenging religions, their survival.. some topics on atheism or non-religious ideologies will help people understanding each other. There is nothing to be defensive.
