thanks man! I tend to stay away from religious argument but like random bits of knowledge they provide. Like one of the threads about Shaitaan … I had so many misconceptions because I was confusing Islamic concept of Jinn with Supernatural tv show :smack:

Yes, because apparently anything I might say will have an external element, I guess.

13:38 And certainly We sent messengers before you and gave them wives and children.

Although, this verse does not specifically say about Isa(as), but then again, seeing this verse and knowing that Quran is silent about Jesus having wife or not, we can only say that we are not sure, which is a legit conclusion which I made earlier.

Do you have any evidence supporting Him not having a wife?

The quotation you have provided does not suggest that all messengers had wives and children.

If this verse is an evidence that all were married, then it’s a proof that all had kids too.

Do we know if Jesus had any kids?

Historically the only record found about I think all the prophet, accept rasool-ul-allah(saw) only found in bible.
That some people believed is tempered with, to some extent.

Islamically, surah kahaf, Allah explains, that he only gives information which is needed to for a sign, we are not supposed to get into argument about unseen, Good example :

"They will say there were three, the fourth of them being their dog; and they will say there were five, the sixth of them being their dog - guessing at the unseen; and they will say there were seven, and the eighth of them was their dog. Say, [O Muhammad], "My Lord is most knowing of their number. None knows them except a few. So do not argue about them except with an obvious argument and do not inquire about them among [the speculators] from anyone."
(18:22)

Read surah kahf for hazrat khizar alehe salam, well hazrat izrael is angel of death

why everyone is telling unmarried, i am not sure but i think hazrat mosa alehe salam had only one wife (daughter of hazrat shoaib alehe salam)wallahu alam bissawab
