there are so many parlors lahore who charges not more than 15000 and doing very good job so shop around and find out, most of the time your trial will tell you how good the parlor is and also check their pics. Any girl who does makeup can paste your face with lots of makeup and you will look all white and people in Pakistan say gorgeous as soon as they see whitish girl, you should go with the parlor who can make you look beautiful in very reasonable and light makeup, and dont go with the name who might charge you a lot and don't do what you asked/wished/requested them to do

i dont know maha but i do know that they want to see you first and figure out how much make and time your face will require and how many pre makeup treatments your face require, and on the spot the makeup girl will say oh I can do this or that for your face but it will cost you extra, or in the case of owners one of the employee lady will say yeah if you pay me some for that then I will do this this and this extra for you. so many ways for them to make money. will show you the makeup things packing of some big brands but inside they have sometimes some other companies stuff. try asking them what brand/company makeup will your parlor be using if you hire them to do the makeup
last year (in 07) they charged 11,000 , 14000 and 25000 depending on who did it (regular employee vs senior makeup artist vs senior makeup + the owner doing final touches on the eyes). party makeup they charged me 5000

actuallly my czn in lhr was searching 4 the makeup artist so she told me k there is some parlor named aishas n they r doing very good makeup n charges are also very reasonable but i never read abt it any where or heard anything abt it n then the person who is going to do r foto shoot is my fiance friend she recommend a girl k she does very nicee makeup n woh apney photo shoots kee models ka uc sey makeup karaety hain so he was saying k us sey baat kertey hain ab mujhey khuch smjh ni aa raha sub log kehte hain k gher per jo makeup kertey hain they r not goood :( n oh dis firl wrk for aishas parlor n learned her wrk from some goshii in lhrr

^ u will only find a small number of makeup ppl who are very well known internationally... but pak is crawling with salons and makeup artists that do just a good job as the big names but for less prices.

well in 2005 my best friend had her makeup frm madeehas and belve me it wasnt impressng at all as there were lines on her face specially around the lips i thnk tht is called jaw lines after tht again my secnd best friend got ready frm madeehas in 2007 she is a very preety girl bt again her makeup was just ok and again there were lines seems like base is cracking bt surprizingly her pis turn out to be sooooooo good and recently on 1st nov , 2008 i got achance to see another madeehas bride she had apackage of rs.15000 where madeehas sis do the final touchngs , apart frm LINES around the lips she looks stunning when i asked her abt the lines she told me that the make up artist told her k jis ke bhe naturally lines hon ge we cant hide them so...... the pics r good too and she also had her mehndi make up frm madeehas it wasnt tht good bt was ok whereas i have seen pics of mehndi bride of new look and she looked fab
during past 5 yeras i have seen many brides who told me taht they had their make up frm allle nora bt they look yukhhhhhhhhhhhhh as their makeup isnt done by annie
now m going to get married INSHA ALLAH next yr and m really confused what to do
shold i go with madeeha ignoring all those line and craks in their base apart frm the fact the i also had lines round my lips ???

salam dua forst of all congradulations ::) second the name of the parlour have no concerns with the make up .... what matters the whole is who is making you up?? the professional make up artist or a New Commer trainee.. Depilex parlour mostly give chances to New commer girls thats y v can c every kind of bride some are good some are worst.. in Alle Nora if you chose the artist beside Annie then you should pray that may the experiment turns into something good :D but if Annie herself is making you up her charges are 22 to 25 thousand.... then you should be confident that you are gonna be something in to good and adorable... my wedding is in december inshaAllah and i have booked Annie...(AlleNora) (Note: if you want makeup from Annie of AlleNora you should book her one month before as she closes her booking due to load )
thats why you should inquire the make Up artist or beautician more than the Parlour....

I would suggest ** Shakeela's**, I have seen so many brides who had their make up from this beauty parlour, I couldn't find any flaw in their make up and specially their dupatta setting is amazing. Last time my cousin had her make up from Shakeela's and she paid only 8000 (including facial etc). You can confirm their dues.

I posted this earlier too..and am AGAIN recommending maryam khwaja..ihave seen my sister’s SIL who got her make up for mehndi,baraat and walima from her and she did an awesome job .. cant post pics though :
my sis also got her party make up dne from her all three days which was realllllly nice too.
as someone said afzl’s wife does a good one..the bride i am talking about got all her shoots andevent photography from afzl. they offered her a free make up and photoshoot for the maklaawa..she got it done from them and the make up was very nice too

i would suggest you to personally check out with maryam khwaja behind depilex on m.m.alam road if you live in Lahore.she does makeup for nilofer shahid’s models and i have seen awesome brides done by her..she charges 20000 rs for makeup plus mehndi..you can see her work in the album at her parlour.

Saira is Afzl's wife..and she's learnt makeup from Khawar Riaz. Khawar is fantastic but his prices are pretty steep..
