None really... Humsafar was the only drama that I actually followed after almost a decade of not watching Pakistani TV dramas.
Whenever I heard about a supposedly good drama, I watched it online but often could not tolerate the nonsense.
I really don’t get why people liked drama meri zaat or main abdulqadir hoon? I watched couple of episode and then I was like I don’t need to waste my life over this.

I watched bits and pieces of Aansoo. I remember the lead girl in it was really cute. Any idea who she is? don't think I saw her after that.

she is called maheen. she is married now and settled with her kids and hubby in usa (i think).
she only appeared in drama ansoo and in ali zafar's song 'rangeen'.

Drama Mehndi back in 2002, there was a lot of hype and the title song by Jawad Ahmed could be heard everywhere!

Agreed! I hadn't seen that drama and started watching it recently. It was shudder inducing cheesy. I couldn't get past the first episode

For those who started only post Meri zaat and Humsafar, you guys have some serious catching up to do!!! My exit from the drama scene coincided with the odious Seema Ghazal's monopoly of the airwaves. Got reintroduced courtesy Mere Paas Paas, Piya Naam ka diya and Kuch dil ne kaha around the same time. Eagerly awaiting decent adaptations of classics or new projects by living legends like Dr. Enver Sajjad, Bano Qudsia etc.

Like some I never completely stopped watching them. I would always try to catch a Mehreen Jabbar direction if I could :) I remember I wanted to see Ab tum Ja saktay ho and Putli Ghar so badly! Finally thanks to Youtube and MJ, I was able to watch these 2 long plays!
I couldn't stand and still can't the soaps Geo started dishing out when we got it on Dish TV so mainly stuck to long plays or some of the ARY dramas that were a little more story oriented than the Geo ones. We had heard about all the wonderful work HumTV was doing but because Youtube and FB were non-existent at that time, didn't see any of their earlier plays.
Even now I try to catch 2-3 plays per quarter to see if they are interesting otherwise I fast-forward through them. Long gone are the days when I would sit in front of the TV and watch a whole episode.

Bano Aapa didn't write after 'Piya Naam ka Diya'- a great direction by Sarmad... Dr Enver Sajjad has written a serial for PTV ' Dil Bheke ga', but it was Okay..

i had watched Mehndi and a few other dramas when my mom used to watch them.... then one day i watched Qaid-e-Tanhai and fell in love with Pakistani Tv all over again. Now I am almost an expert ;)
