after pal do pal, bhandhan and all those lovely haseena moin dramas... it was definately daam.

I disliked mendhi very much.. it was painful and i just wished dramas were like the 90's... and then came some awesome awesome dramas.

I watched "ankahi" & "tanhaiyan" as a kid of course like everyone else, but then never watched a Pakistani drama again until last year when I started catching some episodes of "Aye Dasht-E-Junoon" on HumTv only because I know/am friends with Hira Tareen....and then...the Humsafar bug got me bad!!!! I also watched Maat....I'm really liking the dramas on HumTv these days!!!

I always watched Pakistani dramas, there was never a phase where I stopped watching them .. or any drama which got me hooked to Pakistani dramas again.

I disliked Mehndi very much! It seemed very artifiical and Tons of overacting!

I watched aye dashte junoon too. I liked the chemistry between Kiran Haq and Aijaz Aslam. However it was nothing compared to the chemistry between Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan.

nothing can beat old classical ones, ankahi, dhoop kinarey, tanhaiyaan, alpha bravo charlie and dhuwan ..

I seriously would love to see all those wonderful actors back in the industry... !
the guy in Dhuwan drama ... Asher Azim, such a fine actor, why is he not working anymore! :(
also Rahat Kazmi and Marina Khan should come backkkkkkkkkkk

i have lost interest in Pakistani dramas due to the fact that they are slow paced. I only watch it when they are based on the novel, especially if it is written by Umera Ahmad

@ dooree: meri zaat, Daam, Maan-o-Salwa, Maat, Doraha are written by Khawateen Digest Writer (Umera Ahmad). where as, rest of the drama's mentioned here are also based on the popular novels, i.e. umrao jaan, Bandhan, Raahen, humsafar, dastann, Saiqa, etc

I wouldn't say a particular drama but definitely when Geo started making good dramas (they aren't as good now i think), but hum tv is what really made me stay and watch all the dramas. I don't watch anything else actually .... just few good drams or nothing else. Not a huge fan of TV. And for people who are saying meri zaat did... I think they missed a lot of good dramas.

Probably super busy now. I thought she was a middle age lady in her fifties. She is 40 or 41. She lives in New York (Brooklyn) according to the bio on wikipedia.

Hoping that she did a good job with Mata-e-jaan hai tou.

I would like to think that she loves to hear feedback for her dramas so we do see her around here when her dramas are on air. However, she wasn't too active when they had daam and neeyat on air. In the past, I do remember seeing her here all the time.

last dramas were Mehndi and Singhar....I haven't watched any drama since then. it's been like 10 years now. Wow

Marina khan came in takay ki barat as a guest appearance. i think i saw her pix in zindagi gulzar hai but she has def lost her charm.

After hearing so much hoopla about Humsafar - I started watching it.

Don't throw tamatars at me but I forwarded through most of the episodes to get the jist of it. (in the interest of time ofcourse).

It is was an experience. I watche from the day it aired on humtv.
Way before it became a hit. From the first episode it caught my attention. It is not as good if u watched 5 to 10 episode a day. I watched at 10 episodes on big screen tv when it aired on hymtv at night. After that point I started watching in the mornings right after it aired in Pakistan because i couldn wait. I would watch online in the morning and on big screen at night.
