All Asha Parekh movies:D I am her hugest fan. She is the so elegant and graceful etc etc etc.

Mera Naam Joker by Raj Kapoor... an epic but heartbreaking tale of a circus joker.

Khamoshi (1969) - one of my all time fav movies - prolly cuz it's a Gulzar movie and it has two of my all-time fav songs: Tum Pukar Lo... and Woh Shaam Kuuch Ajeeb Thee.

The Guide?
I don't know about the movie but I have read The Guide by R.K. Narayan. Raju and Rosy and their abortive quest for love and fame, it was a good read with a touching ending.
As for movies, most Indian movies are so lame they kinda make my head spin.

Anyways, the only other movie from the 60s that I’ve seen is Ram aur Sham… pretty good entertainment wise but nothing special really. Khamoshi on the other hand is an excellent movie! - again, gimme a Gulzar movie that isn’t good… everything he writes / makes turns out to be a masterpiece.
