Sub-continent’s history is full of invasions. All have one common thing… loot loot loot… sub-continent seems to be a baRa/ landa bazar these foreign invaders looted free. They did paid some price (military expenses) as there is no free lunches in life.. but the rate of return was always higher. The return (profit) is still paid to them by labeling them heroes.
Coming to point, which invader do you think is overrated as hero?

Maybe Ghaznavi and Ghauri, as they are loved in Pakistan but what exactly did they give the area in return?

Invaders don't give anything to the conquered areas. Its a misconception. If it seems that they had given anything to conquered areas, then one might ponder over what they have taken in return.
Invaders treat conquered areas like people treat their qurbani ka janwar... Give them quality grass, etc to get more meat :D

I hate the british invasion ... they made us fight each other , two nations , living together for centuries are enemies now just because of the british LARAO N HUKUMAT KRO policy....

I agree they were upto this divide and rule policy, but its been six decades and we should have rectified ourselves instead of merely condemning British Raj.

dude, when they can turn us against the people, with whome we were living for more then 200 years, in 1 decade, then how can you think we can rectify that in 6 decades, also , they didnt left us united , they divided us into 2 or u can say 3 countries , so the mess cant be cleaned up in 6 decades, i dont think in 2 centuries even

If we look into the reasons for partition.. We just can't say British Raj made way for partition. They society and its social fabric was very much helpful for such exploitation. One Maleechh could not enter Rasoi of a Brahmin... They had separate wells of water. Hindu Pani and Muslim Pani division was there. If British did anything it was exploitation of ground realities.

yes. Suri was one of the best things happened in sub-continent. Mughals were mix. They somehow remained under superiority complex till end.

May be these gora sahiban took revenge for losing their rule in India, but if India was undivided, it would have been difficult to administer considering so much polarization and differences built in very basic roots of the society.

Gora sahiban work on very LONG TERM policy , they think of 100 years ahead, whatever reason was, just think, If indo pak were united, then the wars would have not taken place... WAR = BERA GHARAK of economy ... 2nd... We both , being the poorest countries made atom bomb , if we were united , we could have done alot more, not only indo pak, but bangladesh would have been with us , so it was a great combo, like the SOVIET UNION , and now the USA , every state has its own part in the development of the country... Its my personal opinion , I dont care what others think, but we would have been invincible if we were united, that trick of british worked, and is working till now and will work forever ...

With the exception of Babar and possibly Humayun who was born in Afghanistan, none of the other Mughals were invaders and neither was Sher Shah Suri.

Agree, Mughals were one of those invaders who settled in India. Sher Shah Suri was by no mean an invader.

I have 3 invader I hate the most. In order... Ghaznavi, Nadir Shah and Ghori.
