OK I remember one that used to be published in Monthly Magazine for children 'Bachon ke Duniya'. The name of comics was Chillawa, about a fast speed man like super man :)
BTW, ninja do comics need to be funny or revolving around comedy?
I don’t think there are any famous comic characters in Pakistan (at least I don’t know). There used to and still are comics (cartoons) on the current affairs, filmi scandals, but I don’t remember people following a local comic series.
No ther are n't any comic books in urdu. I remember, I used to read: Inspector Jamsheed n mahmood, farooq and farzana (his children) series, and Imran series as well, just to improve my urdu lolz

They are so many characters in children literature who carried such supernatural powers. There used to be a famous series of books called 'Anber, Naag, Maria' written by famous writer A Hameed who also wrote popular drama 'Ainak Wala Jin'.
In Anber Naag Maria, the story revolved around 3 friends who had to travel back in forth in history.
Anber was a prince from Pharaoh period, who was blessed / cursed with immortality and the power that no arms (sword, gun, etc) will harm him. The only way to control him was to trap him in a well. :D
Naag was a sheesh Nag, who could change any shape he wished. :)
Maria was an invisible girl, who could hide any object by picking that in her hands.
I owe my hindi literacy to these comics, I used to buy on rent of one day, series for Re1 and digest for Rs 2 a day in Bareilly, then I moved to Rajasthan in class five and link with these got broken:(

That was amazing series. I used to rent books of the series for Rs 1 per day and complete it in a night. The book also contain historical information described in simple and interesting words. The characters met Tipu Sultan, Bahadur Shah Zafar, lived French Revolution. They wanted to save people and change history by telling whats going to happen, but for one or other reason they couldn't do so and only helped common men. :)
