I guess you could say that there were more than 1 calendars being followed, not just lunar, lunar calendar was not "established" by Prophet Mohammed PBUH.

Its not about my happiness, its about facts/truth. I believe "lunar" calendar was predominant in the society (or perhaps the region as a whole)
