You should look into some local community centres. I know Angus Glen has a community centre and people usually rent the space to have low-key events. Centennial College also has a conference centre that can be rented out for events
There’s also Crystal Fountains, Grande Luxe, Grand Baccus Banquet, Princess banquet hall. Also the Tabaq restaurant on Danforth has a banquet space…there food is good as well.
Have you checked out Affy’s (in Pickering) - they have a banquet area as well.
