hanib, sarcasm well taken but the thread is not to accuse India of supporting Taliban (or are you accusing India in an indirect way?) ..
have i accused anyone, infact i said India is most peace loving nation... and all this arms and ammunitation is grown in the fields.. i am sorry if you find it funny but it is true.. how else they are going to get their arms... we have got no enemy in this world.. our neighbor specially india is most peace loving then only conclusion left is that these terrorists have some how got the technology to grow them in the fields...
anyway, AK47 manufactured in tribal areas is of worst quality, the gun can explode at any time, anyone who have little bit of information about the weapons would laugh at the accusation that the same guns produced in these cottages can be used in fighitng against any army.. let alone Pakistan army...
anyway.. india is not supporting them ( it is sin to name india) no one else is their to support these terrorist ( although wikileaks have said that TTP and terrorism in Pakistan and India is somewhat supported by CIA, but it is a sheer lie, how CIA can support terrorism?) the guns, rdx and bullets are grown on field... unless proved otherwise....

Completely untrue. The gun may be bad, but it's pretty damn usable and not half as risky as you say it is. And as I mentioned earlier, this is what arms dealers do. They SMUGGLE ARMS to EARN MONEY.

Well say if there are 30 Ak-47s thjat do not work. They would have working parts. Those parts put together could produce 1 or 2 working AK-47s. But not enough to fight an insurgency.

And everything can be smuggled through Afghanistan. I've lived in Quetta for about 15 years, and believe me, all types of things came from Afghanistan through Chamman, be it crockery, laptops or guns.

If you read the New York Times, you will notice the CIA and the US government are not on the same page. Read Descent into chaos by Ahmad Rashid. He highlights how the CIA runs its own operations in both countries without approval or coordination with the State Dept, USAID or Pentagon.

anyway, it is only CIA/Pentagon who is benefiting from Al-Qaeda and now from TTP... they have huge funds and i mean hugeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee funds with no audits and some stupid people like me use to think that once the war in Afghanistan is over i.e. Taliban/Al-Qaeda defeated then there won't be any funds for them... ofcourse no one pays for the medicine or to a doctor once cured... anyway, now i have learned by lessons.. so CIA is using trillion dollar funds to eliminate Al-Qaeda for last 8/9 years and i am sorry to say that they have utterly failed in doing so... but they will continue to do it for another ten years.. may be this time in Pakistan.. haven't you heard the news that Taliban of Pakistan has threaten western world... and there is almost no news about Al-Qaeda or the original taliban.....

he is not saying that Talibans are producing laptops. He is saying that chamman broder is haven for smugglers. Quetta is full of smuggled goods from Iran and Afghanistan. Its recent news that millions of gallons of smuggled patrol and diesel through Baluchistan borders entered Pakistan.

I guess my sarcasm was lost on people. Afghans do not have money to feed their families. So in the 1980s and 1990s where would they get money for laptops. If they were smuggled, they would have to come from a location where laptops were common. That would not be Iran or Afghanistan or any of the CIS countries due to the poverty in those countries. Basic food is not available where could they smuggle in Laptops from. They would need to get them from the Middle East or Turkey. Hell even Europe but it would be near impossible to get it to Afghanistan because it is landlocked.
