Where is the Only One 'True God'?

Re: Where is the Only One 'True God'?

But then, 'infinite place' is a limitation of our limited mind too. I say God is beyond and above infinite places and you can not deny that, can you?

Re: Where is the Only One 'True God'?

Peace Mr.popat,

where did Almighty Allah said "you see his face"?

Re: Where is the Only One 'True God'?

No. You dont call it mocking when this is your belief. Mocking is if I make fun of it. I'm not making fun of it. Im merely showing the flaws in your belief and what I think about about the topic of this thread. Sorry if you got the impression that i was mocking.Show me anything I wrote which is not your belief, then if i made any mistake anywhere, i'll take it back . Official belief is whatever is in the Quran and ahadith. Whatever contradicts Qur'an is not to be taken as truth.

No i cannot deny that. When Allah Himself says that His is the kingdom of heavens and the earth. Who am I to deny this?

PS: LLK : Surah al baqarah, verse 115. Verse is to be taken metaphorically. Face in the verse means His signs, His power, His majesty. No place is without His presence.

Re: Where is the Only One 'True God'?

Peace Mr.popat,

Where to see His signs? in what we'll see His power? Which thing shows His majesty? as u wrote above?

Re: Where is the Only One 'True God'?

Peace,
This is a vast topic in itself. But simply putting.. signs are present in nature.. power is in Allah's ability to bring about dead from alive and alive from dead.. majesty is his attributes.. all powerful, provider, designer, protector, maalik, knower of the unseen. etc..

Re: Where is the Only One 'True God'?

Re: Where is the Only One 'True God'?

Peace Mr.Popat

It is not our belief that one must go from point A to point B to meet his Lord, but we do believe that RasoolAllah(SAW) did go from A to B as part the night journey ... Which culminated in meeting his (SAW) Lord. To assert that we take the journey to the heavens as getting physically closer to Allah is incorrect ... Going to the heavens and from there being called to meet Allah is a sign of the honour given to RasoolAllah (SAW) ... If Allah (SAW) willed then The meeting could happen in any way ... It is a matter of choice rather than physics that led to the meeting of RasoolAllah (SAW) and Allah (SWT), after the journey to the heavens ... It is not to be taken that heaven is somewhere in between Allah (SWT) and the world ...this would go against our aqeedah.

Re: Where is the Only One 'True God'?

Peace,
Yes, it really does seem that we have to take things very slowly.

First off.. when you put question in regards to the verse.. you are not questioning me. It is not my words. You are questioning the verse. You're questioning Qur'an. I simply put forth the verse in front of you..that this is what Allah says.

Here it is again..
*7:25 : He said, ‘Therein shall you live, and therein shall you die, and therefrom shall you be brought forth.
*
This is what you said : "do you know if anyone has died in space? "

I don't know what you were thinking to be able to come up with this question. Again, the verse is of quran not my own nauzubillah.

Are you saying because people can die in space, therefore people can live outside of the earth too? what kind of logic is that?

The verse says earth is an abode in which people can live and die. Kindly, just look into the verse and spend some time thinking about it. Do not unknowingly start questioning Quran.

Verse clearly states that this is the place where you shall live and you shall die with no exception. I wanted you to emphasis on 'therein shall you live'. For a person, he must be on this Earth. Outside of this Earth.. you die. What is so hard to understand? You die in space because you cannot live there. It is honestly very stupid to think that just because people CAN die in space, therefore people CAN live outside of this earth.. there's absolutely no logic involved in this. If I'm wrong in understanding this verse, kindly show me what it means then.

You always seem to come up with an exception but always fail to show me evidence. Where is the exception? How many do you know who can go outside of this Earth and can still be alive? You must admit this, if not then no problem, you are putting question mark on a Quranic verse.. theres nothing i can do about that.

Theres nothing that i need to admit but rather you need to admit this Quranic verse put forward. Just for the sake of proving your point, do not have enmity against Quran.
