Re: Where is the Only One 'True God'?
Peace Mr.Popat
It appears we going to have to take this very slowly ... So in the verse you have quoted does it state that **only therein shall you live? Only therein shall you die and only therefrom you shall be brought forth?
Do you know if anyone has died in space?**
The answer to this question should tell you that this verse cannot be taken as a limitation, the grammar does not allow it ... It is a generality being stated here. Here although you are using the Qur'an to state this is the pattern of life, you indeed are putting your intelligence to the verse by making it an absolute rule when indeed the Arabic doesn't specify it in a way that is absolute.
There are various Tawkeed in Arabic (emphasis) markers and different ones specify the level of exception that exists.
Accept this then we will move on ...
Peace,
Yes, it really does seem that we have to take things very slowly.
First off.. when you put question in regards to the verse.. you are not questioning me. It is not my words. You are questioning the verse. You're questioning Qur'an. I simply put forth the verse in front of you..that this is what Allah says.
Here it is again..
*7:25 : He said, ‘Therein shall you live, and therein shall you die, and therefrom shall you be brought forth.
*
This is what you said : "do you know if anyone has died in space? "
I don't know what you were thinking to be able to come up with this question. Again, the verse is of quran not my own nauzubillah.
Are you saying because people can die in space, therefore people can live outside of the earth too? what kind of logic is that?
The verse says earth is an abode in which people can live and die. Kindly, just look into the verse and spend some time thinking about it. Do not unknowingly start questioning Quran.
Verse clearly states that this is the place where you shall live and you shall die with no exception. I wanted you to emphasis on 'therein shall you live'. For a person, he must be on this Earth. Outside of this Earth.. you die. What is so hard to understand? You die in space because you cannot live there. It is honestly very stupid to think that just because people CAN die in space, therefore people CAN live outside of this earth.. there's absolutely no logic involved in this. If I'm wrong in understanding this verse, kindly show me what it means then.
You always seem to come up with an exception but always fail to show me evidence. Where is the exception? How many do you know who can go outside of this Earth and can still be alive? You must admit this, if not then no problem, you are putting question mark on a Quranic verse.. theres nothing i can do about that.
Theres nothing that i need to admit but rather you need to admit this Quranic verse put forward. Just for the sake of proving your point, do not have enmity against Quran.
