Even this statement “God is within us” has evidence, but it is all a matter of how we interpret the evidence that determines how we take it.

Notice how the part where it states ( by Our Knowledge ) this is an interpretation that is deemed necessary to add after “We are nearer to Him than his jugular”.

it is a major part of my belief that Allah SWT is closer to myself than i am, and it makes perfect sense and this has alot of evidence for the believers including (with the permission of Allah) myself. my personal belief here comes from islamic aqaid and spirituality
however this belief is not as strong evidentially, imo. a disbeliever can not come near it due to being a disbeliever. ie he who doesnt believe in God sure doesnt believe in the nearness of god more then oneself.

my initial comment was aimed at the theory that God divided himself, or we contain divinity, or we are God. as it could be presented as a contender against God created us and is seperate from us (which is my belief).

at the time islamic proofs were not being used to refute or support as the subject was being contended by believers and disbelievers. however now we can discuss to include islam and improve ourselves. would you put ‘by knowledge or by His knowledge’ in this statement: The only one True God is in you and me. ?
