Jealous of drawing a match??

Jealous of Sachin's achievements as a batsman, Since you dont have one like him :) I pity you.

I want to congratulate India for a remarkable performance to draw the match!
Happy! :)

As usual you are jumping out of your pants and declaring the test as Draw when still 3 days play are left. You were jumping exactly like this before Tangiers and we saw what happened there. But that's you 'AOA' haha- old habits...
Sachin Tendulkar pleaded yet again not to be mentioned in the same breath as the great Don Bradman after hammering 185 not out against England in the third test to overtake the Australian’s total of 29 test centuries.
Tendulkar, who helped India to 584 for four at the end of the second day at Headingley, said: "Statistically I have passed Don Bradman but I can’t be compared with him.
“He’s not a normal person. You can only dream of scoring a hundred every three innings.”
Tendulkar has reached 30 test centuries in his 99th test. Bradman made his 30 in 52 matches and averaged a whisker under 100 each visit to the crease, around 40 more than the Indian’s average.
Tendulkar was invited to the reclusive Bradman’s birthday party shortly before he died, aged 92, in February 2001.
Bradman, regarded as the greatest batsman to have ever played the game, had said Tendulkar was the one batsman who reminded him of himself.
The Indian has always maintained he could not match the Australian. On Friday he was just happy to be himself.
“I wish those days could come along more often,” he said. “To score a hundred on my old county ground was something special.”
Tendulkar was Yorkshire’s first overseas signing in 1992 but never managed a century at their home venue despite three near misses.
He is now just four behind fellow Indian Sunil Gavaskar’s all-time record of test centuries.
*Why are the stupid brainwashed shmucks not giving Dravid any credit? He has been there when it mattered the most in this series. Seems like rediff.com has correctly labelled him as the "unsung hero". People, That Is All.*

Nobody is taking away anything from Dravid. he is simply great but his badluck is that he has to play cricket with one of the greatest .
Another badluck is that anyday he plays good ining someone plays better than him.
Someone said very well for DRAVID

VVS Laxman's majestic 281, Sachin Tendulkar's 30th century, Sourav Ganguly's century on debut...all these great moments of Indian cricket have one enduring presence -- Rahul Sharad Dravid.
Always the bridesmaid never the bride, Dravid has had a fascinating Test career, though his exploits on the field have always been overshadowed by the players at the other end.
At Headingley, in the third Test against England, Dravid became the second fastest Indian cricketer to reach 5000 runs in Test cricket.
You have some players like Dravid but none like Sachin and that is the reason you are jealous of him.

No thanks but I'm fine with my Youhanas, Anwars, and Inzis
They maybe inconsistent and may not exciting as Tendulkur but I would rather have them in my team to win the match for me the sachin.
Whats the use of scoring 30 centuries where none of them came at a critical situation which won India the match.

Exactly!
The poor lad always sets up good totals so the other over rated batsman can come in and captalized on the ssituation and pile on runs, except for VVX Laxman innings.

So basically all credit must go to Dravid for scoring 148 and no credit to Sachin for scoring 193 ?? (FYI - Sachin has scored 18 centuries more than Dravid and has been playing since 1989 , 7-8 before Dravid Came onto the Scene)
Once again it doesn't matter what you say - according to you Bradman was over-rated batsman too and Shahid Afridi is next richards.
As If you have a Choice . Many people on this forum have quoted that given a choice they would like to have Sachin/Ganguly in their Team - Clearly a case of Sour Grapes.
Yeah I have seen that in the past 5-6 years. Check your test performance since JAved Bhai’s Retirement.

Asif, Asif, Asif, why do you always get the wrong end of the stick when comes to your blind support for Sachin? No doubt he is a great player. However, what people are saying is that had it not been for the fantastic innings played by Dravid, giving a great platform for Sachin and Ganguly to build on, there may not have been this gem of an innings by Sachin. It is once again a question of Sachin playing an innings when not under pressure, ala, his record in second innings when trying to save or win a match.
Sachin is great and I'll have him in my team, but let's keep it in perspective :)
