we went too! it was amazing… i so wanna go back!
we did a three week roadtrip across europe- from paris to romania- and back. saw 8 countries, drove 8000 kms, and had the best time overall.
silsila, maldives looks so gorgeous, lady! i hope you post some pics of the scenery when you return iA. i’d love to live vicariously through you.
italy is awesome, lawchick… beware the 50 million tourists in venice though, but save yer money cos you will want to buy their gorgeous venetian glass bead jewellery and their amazing masquerade masques. and also, everywhere in europe, be prepared to pay $4 PER CAN for coke :rolleyes:
and definitely visit the cinque terre if you get the chance… its in the north-western part and its gorgeous… we went to the beach at monterosso, and let me tell you, nothing beats a swim in the mediterranean. it was beautiful.

We went to Maui cuz we couldn't leave the US due to hubby's green card processing. It was absolutely gorgeous and relaxing. I'm not much of a sunbather, but we still had a great time seeing the sights and touring around. Lovely!

There are so many islands in the Maldives, its good to research what type of island u want as u can feel really isolated in some - as you can walk round them in 10 mins.........lol..........we chose a medium sized island with a beach hut, on the edge of the sea with a jacuzzi looking on to the sea! Trips included in package were - night fishing, and they cook u wat u catch on the beach the following day, love boat cruise, sumbarine crusie etc etc. visit to the city male, where there is the big mosque.......www.meeru.com, we are then stopping in dubai to get our wedding rings and any designer bags i can squeeze out of him! But Maldives per person is about 2k plus all inclusive. its best to go all inclusive as ots really expensive on the island.............xxx

Oh silsila you will love your honeymoon inshallah. We went to Maldives and Dubai. Which island are you going to? We went Hilton Resorts Rangali Islands. It was the most amazing holiday of my lifetime. So serene and exceptionally beautiful. Spent 4 days in our private villa where its hidden by just greenery and huge tall trees and is so so seculded. The next 3 days we spent in the Water villa. A villa standing on stilts…you come out at the back of the villa and you actually walk into the ocean…ohhhhhhh amazing!!!
We are hoping to go there inshallah on out 10th wedding anniversary…hehe…7 more years to go…when we are old and grey

i know, cant wait to go, ppl say maldives is once in a lifetime, we first thought of going to numerous places, but then felt we'd spend alot of time on the plane feeling jet lagged etc, so decided on maldives with a stop over in dubai. but my husband to be loves travelling so we have decided to go away within the year of getting married, but im thinking of planning a suprise trip for him, maybe new york, new york, he'd love it...............x

Why dont you guys go to Muritius (sp) - he would love that! Thats another amazing place...for relaxation! New York is just another place full of goras...at least in Muritious there is culture...
You know the best thing about Maldives is that you can just relax and do anything - food is also halal too. You didnt tell me which island you are going to...

yeh i thought that but after honeymoon, i thought i'd suprise him with a city type holiday, also thinking about what i could buy when im there lol! he is really keen on going to thailand, singapore etc
