Re: Where are they now?????

Sorry for sad terror happned Muzna, its all common in every part of Pakistan, and yeah u right its the responcibility of local authorties to make some prompt and take hard action against unlawfull actitivites and maintain law and order, stop violance and robberies in central karachi is the duty of MQM leadership and somehow they still not showing much interest on this issue.

And yeah ignored the all good and safe heavens all around Pakistan where peoples living in peace and without fears and salute to their supporters and leaders for their great great achievements to obtain the law and order situations, and let me wrtie a letter to MQM leadership to advising them visit and study orther areas and learn how to govern karachi peacefully.

They have killed more people in target killings in the past few months than the suicide bombings up north combined.

what that man said.•

"A record number of Pakistani civilians and security forces died in militant violence last year as the country reeled from an onslaught of Taliban suicide bombings that propelled it into the ranks of the world’s most perilous places. Pakistan saw 3,021 deaths in terrorist attacks in in 2009, up 48% on the year before, according to a new report by the Pakistan Institute for Peace Studies (PIPS), an Islamabad-based defence think-tank. Researchers counted a total of 12,600 violent deaths across the country in 2009.

Oopps
sorry I collect the data based on year 2009, its 2011 and 2010 is still fresh in my mind, and if the report u paste is correct its not mean that only MQM is fully responcible for all deaths relating with targetting killing.

Re: Where are they now?????

and you thought you will get some reasonable answer from the cult followers, wishful thinking i must say...

i'm sorry for the incidents you mentioned, i can relate to many like these happening with my very own father and brothers... yes it almost everywhere in the country, but not as much as in karachi, and yes its everywhere in karachi, but not as much as in areas with majority of mqm supporters...

Re: Where are they now?????

I agree good governance is certainly something MQM is lacking. Building flyovers, while commendable, is no substitute to improving law and order situation for the common man.
That said escalating petty crime--the mobile snatching etc-- is just symptomatic of the larger problem: the profound overcrowding of Karachi. There are so many hands chasing limited resources and thus there needs to be some curtailment of the number of people who can move to the city from the rest of the country.

Re: Where are they now???

well I found this one by Dawn.com

KARACHI: A total of 748 people lost their lives to targeted killings in the city last year, up from the 272 victims in 2009, says a report released by the Sindh chapter of the Human Rights Commission of Pakistan on Wednesday.

The figure includes targeted killings of 447 people on political, ethnic and sectarian grounds and 301 on other grounds.

According to the report, a total of 1,981 people — 1,726 men, 177 women and 78 children — were killed last year. The data does not include those killed in road accidents.

Of the 447 victims of targeted killings, 215 were killed apparently for their association with major political, religious and nationalist parties, 187 for their ethnic background and 23 on sectarian grounds.

Twenty-two people belonging to banned militant groups, including Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan, Sipah-i-Sahaba Pakistan and Jaish Mohammad, were gunned down in the city.

The report says that of the 215 victims who were killed reportedly due to their association with political, religious and nationalist parties, 64 belonged to the MQM, 44 to the ANP, 43 to the MQM(H), 32 to the PPP, four to the PPP(S), one each to the PML(N), PML(Q), PML(F) and Punjabi Front, eight to the ST, three to the JI, two to the JUI, 15 to the JAS, seven to the PPI and two to the JSQM.

MQM on top with targetted followed by ANP and MQMH.
to crtisized someting someone is different then to bring your hate on it, every single lost of life due to violance is condemable, so stop your hate towards a single party involvment and put all blame on it , try to realize what is real going on in Karachi

Re: Where are they now?????

same post

Re: Where are they now?????

So you think all these crimes were committed by MQM and the sons of people who came from India? Are we the worst people in this country?

Re: Where are they now?????

There you go, playing the 'ethnicity' card again, this is what all MQMers do. Btw, for your information 55% of the Mohajirs who migrated actually settled in the province of Punjab, so your 'sons of India card' wont work here.

And shame on you for associating an entire group of people to the MQM, a terrorist political party.

And to answer the legit part of your question 'so you think all these crimes were committed by MQM', you are forgetting that when they collect bhatta (extortion money), they make it pretty clear as to what unit they belong to.

Re: Where are they now?????

and MQM is responsible for all the 1233 people? Again, I am not supporting MQM but I've seen that MQM haters are more passionate than MQM supporters and even if a dog dies on the streets of Karachi, somehow it becomes MQM fault

.. but when American CIA agent openly kills Lahorians, no one blames Panjab Govt for that. When Sri lankan team is attacked, when mob takes over in Sialkot, when land lords maintain their own private slave jails, when choudrys rape the daughters of their farmers and then make them parade naked in public - no political party gets the blame.

Re: Where are they now?????

^ because it is not those political parties that are directly involved and promote such criminal acts?

Re: Where are they now???

when the question is about whats going on in karachi…why the answers are about other parts of pakistan?? :konfused:

Re: Where are they now?????

and all those muggers of karachi - other than the fact that they also speak urdu just like ALtaf Hussain, what other indication do they give that they are MQM worker? Do they carry MQM flag with them or do they shout Jiye Altaaf after every mugging?

Re: Where are they now???

No dude, the real question is that how does a thread that is about law and order situation of Karachi turned into anti-MQM thread?

Re: Where are they now???

because MQM rules karachi…:bummer:

Re: Where are they now?????

Well 65% of the country comes under PML ( N) 's government - Should we not blame them too ?

and the esteemed political leaders ?

Re: Where are they now???

Malir, Landhi, Pathan Goth, Liyari, Sohrab Goth (and the list goes on) -

yup, all of the above crime ridden areas are totally under MQM and we should blame MQM for all the crimes happening there.
