When I said people wanting to make Karachi a village then I did not mean to say that it will be done on purpose. It was because of the ignorance Karachi receive at the hands of provincial and federal governments.
Look at Sindh. For example, Larkana is still a big village. Lyari is still full of gangsters and lawlessness. If PPP can not do anything for its own base then it won’t do it for Karachi either, which does not belong to it politically.

So it means that other cities of Sindh are being ignored with all developmental efforts concentrated in Karachi.

Please stop crying. Provide some substance, at least developmental budget of Karachi vis-a-vis other cities of Sindh and Pakistan during MQM’s rule. I would agree with you if it is disproportionately small considering Karachi’s population or area. Given the size of the budget, any political party would have performed at least equally in terms of development in the city and much better in terms of controlling law and order.

The point just being, and you have to agree with it, that MQM has been using violence for its purposes and we cannot expect improvement in law and order untill they and other parties disarm and it is the responsibility of ruling parties to get that done.
