another aspect of the prevalence of lahories in the team is that national cricket academy is based in Lahore (atleast its big center is). that might be attracting talent in, and nurturing it.
Well, looking at the current performance of the 5 TOP batsmen selected, there doesn't seem to be any talent or nurturing going on. It is plain selective picking.
