LOL DH, look it’s not too hard see. you know the reason. you know why she feels she is better. so what you should do is get a job yourself and be independent and… stay cleaner than you are now

DH, try to find signs in small little things around you. just pick up the signs. they could be really helpful. you have a chance now. you wont bother much once you get busy in life. then you wont have time to analyse these indications which actually are a great help in forming your life.

^ I haven’t been sitting around at home! I have probably applied to about fifity-some places, have gone for over 10 interviews. No response! I can’t be that ugly or horrible! ..

what kind of job are you looking for? start anything. experience you'd have would be very helpful in the future.

DH, just a tip for you. the most confident and capable people ive met until now started out at a very small thing. like natural mentioned. counter cashier or something? you need to appear confident and not nervous or scared when in an interview. even if you dont know what they need. tell them you would like to learn and can do it. you need to be serious yourself if you want interviewers to take you seriously.

Start small! well, let me see. I worked with an art gallery program for a couple of years as an apprentice artist. Then I moved on to working as a Data Entry -filling clerk in a tax office in downtown, Chicago. I was 17 then. Then, I worked as a sales associate in a departmental store (jcpenney) until now. When I came back from pakistan, they had no openings. Now, I have been looking for a job in retail, sales, customer service, and clerical/administrative. Don’t you think it’s small enough to start off?

Sometimes older sisters can be mean....i am the youngest and have two older sisters too. But u know what the biggest thing is when u do something for ur sisters or ur family u shouldn't be counting or saying that u did something for them but knowing that u did something for someone u care about. Cuz I know fights happen, but ultimately she is ur sister. She is the one who will be their in thick and thin situations. Maybe she doesn't want u to steal her "thunder" of fame, so let her have it. Inshallah your time will come too.
As far as getting a job goes....networking is the key. Try to find a friend or someone u know to use as a reference. Or if u go to university try getting an internship. Good Luck with everything.
