dang it ! thatz so me … xcluding the sibilings part since i m only OFF THE TRACK kid lol but yea it kinda sux caz wnever i m not upto anythin bad my parents think i m prolly trying to slide again but at the end of the day dad give me the same old lecture again * 10-12 minz duration** and we kewl again 
n in my case my mom is my best frind

hmm....
i can see my sister not getting along with my mother although my dad would go out of the way to support her...i have always wondered why kids don;t get along with their parents or parents don't try to understand their kids.....i was out of this situation when i was 18 may be cuz i did everything my parents wanted me to do and i guess thats how i gained their trust and confidence.
we have another debate going on in house kinda like suroor's thread as my sister will be graduating from high skool and she wants to go for undergrad where as my mom is like no go to college instead as they are all close by. I guess i am going to have a detailed chat with mom and sis about the issue to resolve it with a constructive solution. i have always been like this and my sis and bro would come to me if they want something from the parents as i can only handle my parents specially mom.
well for dimagh i will only say that it is because u r a girl and sendly because u r not the eldest...and trust me it is only the age group u r in and if you just digest with sabar all this u will be much appreciated all your life. :)

I get along with my parents just fine -may be because I don’t talk back even when I am so overwhelmed.. I stay quiet no matter what they say, but I wonder sometimes why? .. Since everybody is bringing in the age factor, I guess it really is the age group you are in.

i remember when i was going through that phase…i had a detailed chat with my dad and he suggested the same thing that never talk back to your mother… she was the bigger threat at that time…ghussay wale theen…and its funny how she has mellowed down in years

Dimag: Inshallah sub theek ho jaye ga…just do dua from Allah to help you out with your problems. Sometimes, even though parents disagree, they play the favorite child or the trustworthy child roles. Where they only favor one or trust one child. But u know I think its natural. I know my mom favors my eldest sister in a lot of matters because for one they are closer in age and my older sister talks about stuff more with my mom. I think over time though things will change. Just try something different with your parents. Like try communicating with them more or try being ur mom’s friend. Inshallah things will work out.

^ That’s so sweet. Thanks. I am constantly communicating with my parents. parents aren’t the biggest threat anymore. It’s my elder sister who pisses me off. She never stops criticizing me, I don’t even answer her anymore --that doesn’t bother her either. She keeps on calling me “loser” and things like that. It’s just not right after what I have done for her…

omg DH... look, if you're parents are troubling you alot then just threaten them that you'd leave home then see if they change. but i dont know i mean whether they are over protective cz you are really immature cz i dont know you personally. in that case, it'd be a better idea to change yourself and like... wait until you mature.
