Oh god, am I glad someone opened this topic or what . My daughter talks and talks and talks.... I repeatedly have to tell her chup kar jao, which I ofcourse feel bad for afterwards.
It's not that she makes up stuff, she just tells things in soooooooo much detail and when I have other things on my mind it gets kinda hard to concentrate.

Never ever say chup karo to those kids that way you are stoping her to being genius or to become genius.
Stop saying chup karo. That would leave a very bad impression on her mind.
I know its very hard. Think that way that you have to give a genius to the society and for yourself to.
Wheneve she talks alot. Ask some question that is hard for her. That will leave her thingking.
Bring games computer games or psp or game boy or nintendo more than her age.
If you can't concentrate on her just show her that you are listening to her and keep concentrating on your work if that is more serious. But don't let her know that you aren't listening.
