didnt tell anyone until i had my first scanning at 12 weeks.. other than our parents and siblings… ofcourse aunties would keep guessing at events but we had a simple answer to that.. dua karein .. it was neither a yes nor a no.. its good to keep them guessing
With the first 2 I told people the minute I did the home test, non holds barred. With this one I told a few people a day after the home test but not the whole world. It was unplanned and I have health issues.
Tabu, are u expecting..?
And think u should not tell, its better to wait for a few months...totally agree with the nazar thing,i do believe in nazar so should wait as much as u can,May Allah bless u...

I too believe in nazar and after several miscarriages it's hard....
With the first baby, we told my mum and SIL the day we found out and then we had to tell a whole load more people when I was around 11 weeks........
I lost the baby about 2 weeks later.....
I think it's hard to keep it a secret as of course it's a huge khush kabhri...especially when it's the first child/grandchild......but there are some very wicked people aorund...........although having said that there is also mithi nazar as my nanima used to call it....basically it's where people are in awe of your achievements/good fortune!
why could you be surprise as if you got it by accident! you plan with your husband then agree to start a family then why surprise if your wish come true. it happens to a lot of white people who got drunk and they got pregananet accident then abortion it
*think its best to wait till after 3months

I agree I did'nt wait as I was excited, and unfortunetly found out I lost the baby at my 3 month scan, I was devestated ( I had been tryin for 2 years )and didnt know how to tell everyone nevermind deal with the pain, telling my 4 year old daughter was the hardest, and I wish I had'nt told her I was pregnant.
