…how many of you knew how to cook?
Or did you just know the basics and then started to learn properly?
Did you just learn once you were married?

Re: When you got married…
I didn’t know how to cook anything when i got married other than omelettes… I just learned from watching cooking videos and getting recipes online ![]()
Re: When you got married…
I already knew how to cook when I got married. Cooking (and baking) has been a bit of a hobby for me since high school or so.
I knew how to cook before marriage…no baking though. Learned how to bake different things after marriage cos husband has a major sweet tooth.

Re: When you got married…
Knew how to cook.
My parents would make me do ‘mock trials’ as if I were cooking for a dawat from presentation to being a hostess ![]()
Re: When you got married…
Not really. I knew how to throw together stuff (still rememeber these really awesome stir fries I made–but my mom had boiled the rice and chicken for me and I did everything else). Slowly started learning after I got married. It’s fun; I enjoy it. Baking on the other hand, only started a few years ago. Wasn’t very good at it so I stopped…started up again this year and so far everything I’ve made has turned out well mA. Still can’t decorate properly yet but oh well.
