Re: When You Catch Your Man Checking Out Other Women…
For those who support/allow/don’t mind the “husband Checking Out Other Women..” it would be interesting if they could share few names of their religious ideals/role models who used to practice/encourage/didn’t mind this (noble) act.
Re: When You Catch Your Man Checking Out Other Women…
i don’t know i got it from my school going cousins in West London. the actual term is butter face, when you see an ugly girl with a hawt body you say she’s hot but her face…so i think people turned but her face into butter face and then shortened it to butters.

This reminds me of something my non desi friend told me. She was with her husband on holiday, they were at the swimming pool and he wasn’t wearing his glasses. She caught him checking her out and she was like wtheck? He realised it was his wife and was like ‘Oh, it’s you is it?’
Re: When You Catch Your Man Checking Out Other Women…
Humans are wired to respond to beautiful people. Men and women will both notice. The word is notice, if you’re just staring that’s different and I’m sure plenty of people would mind that but if you’re gonna tell me that you don’t notice a good looking person (man or woman) you’re lying because even babies show a preference for looks.
Furthermore, men are even more predisposed towards physical beauty as this shows a healthy woman who will bear healthy children. Again, if you just notice, I’m sure most people would not be offended. If you’re staring or checking them out and going “daaammnn” then I’m sure your spouse, the person you’re leering at, and people in your general vicinity will take some offense.
Re: When You Catch Your Man Checking Out Other Women…
Checking out is just wrong.
However I think there is something quite charming about men who appreciate women in a very respectable and classy way. For example yesterday I was watching Johnny Depp’s POTC interview and he says something like ‘She is certainly very nice to look at, a beautiful women’ about Penelope Cruz, and I found his comments and the way he said it very sensible, classy and ultimate homage (considering they’re both happily married). It maybe an ovely used to cliche but I instantly thought ‘yup he’s the man’, which straight on earth would notice beauty of woman like Penelope Cruz? I think men should have the confidence, security and sense of aesthetics to acknowledge a beautiful woman and not be afraid of saying it. A woman should not go all gaga in case her husband calls a woman beautiful or vice versa.

^So having said that, can i tell a desi girl if she is pretty in nicer way as long as it’s not perverted or creepy way? Because i have said that couple of times to non-desi girls and they have taken it well. Would desi girl appreciate???
