i really wouldn't mind, i'm pretty secure and confident about my looks, most probably i would point out another hot girl to him whose looks i admire, and no im not a lesbian :p women aren't wearing blinders either hot men are everywhere, i would look just like i'm thinking mr. man would look so no harm done....as long as it's just "looking" and no "feeling" of course

It is just like you telling a child to appreciate only the "looks" of different varieties of pastries/cakes/pizzas from the glass window without ever craving for one he hasn't tasted yet and is curious about it. Then, if you expect him to only appreciate it's color and design without yearning for one. Then I am not sure whom you are trying to fool, the child or yourself, because if he is able to only "look" at them without developing even 1% "feelings"(yearning) then he is not a human.
Same goes for a "MAN", who would not be a MAN then, unless he is a very good actor in front of you in hiding the lust that is bound to spark in his eyes when woman hasn't covered herself properly (most cases in public).
There is no human who has more control / cleanliness of intentions than prophets/saints still they used to lower their gaze and avoid looking at even those stranger women who used to practice more modesty in dressing than the present day women. We are merely followers of our ideals.

I'm with you R.A.W. I know the arugement of "...but there are hot woman everywhere".
I don't like the idea of just accepting your husband to check out other woman (especially in front of you) because I would find that very disrespectful to me. Likewise, for a woman to be checking out another man in the company of her husband is quite a cheap thing to do. I know very few men would tolerate such behaviour from his wife, so why should woman think that it's okay to allow her husband to look here and there!

You can't penalize a kid for looking at candy can you. Men are the same way, innocent and curious (not in a gayish way). Just looking at hot women innocently, admiring the beauty of nature, learning from their environment. Its all a part of growing up and it automatically stops at a certain point, apparently at a point where your eyesight is pretty much over and done with. So yeah, stop being all insecure and jealous, jeez!

If my husband stares a woman, i will start staring man in front of him at the same time.... I think in this way his concentration will automatically shift to me ;).. and i will tell him clearly whenever you stare woman i will stare man :p

This person I knew used do it too much. While talking to me, he used to suddenly ignore me and start staring in a certain direction for a long time. He use to do it in the presence of his wife also who was too innocent to think that he doesn't have any bad feelings while he stares at other women. (As evident from his talk).
One day something sliped from his tongue what his wife might never know. Something too shameful to mention here. but for a lesson for those woman who allow it, I have to mention it. He mentioned about husbands imagining other women while having physical relationship with their wives.
I am no one to judge his intentions, but he didn't leave any room for benefit of doubt. May Allah (swt) protect us all from evil thoughts and actions.
