Reply: "Yes, Christ loves all Muslims! But does he love you?"
Then i might give Matthew 7:21-23 a go:
"Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?' Then i will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!'"
This warning can only apply to Christians or at least certain types or groups of Christians since they are the ones who do things in the name of Jesus. So i'd ask the questioner how he can be so sure that he doesn't fall within the address of these words?

What would be your response?

No thanks. I'm already safe and protected by the Al-Mighty God.

Thanks for the offer nevertheless!

Would it really be proper to talk in such a disrespectful manner toward a prophet? And not just any prophet, but THE most peaceful, tolerant and forgiving Prophet in all of God's history. Not everyone believes that a Messenger of God should be a carnal, vengeful, sword-yielding warrior.
And how disrespectful is it to equate a Human to the Creator?
I'm sure you know what I mean, but please spare us your answer.
Finally, I would never dare disrespect ANY Prophet.
I'm merely showing the likes of you, how can one save me if he couldn't save himself! And believe me, I have said this many a time to fellow Christians who have all resulted in running with their tails between their legs, rather than give a realistic explanation.
Don't forget, it's your people who drum the notion of being saved, based on the original sin and not us!

Hmmm... you criticise sholay for showing disrespect to a Prophet and then in the very next sentence you yourself say: "Not everyone believes that a Messenger of God should be a **carnal, vengeful, sword-yielding warrior." Of course, these words aren't disrespectful at all, are they?
Issa Alaihisalam is a Mercy to mankind, and as a Mercy, he loved and loves all mankind. On the Day of Judgement, Muhammed SAW will go to each prophet before him, asking for their help in intercession on behalf of the Prophet PBUH's Ummah, and will ask them to talk to Allah SWT. Each of the past Prophets will say, "Sorry, we don't have that much authority" and politely decline and offer prayers for the Ummah, but nothing else. Issa AHS will accompany Muhammed SAW till a pass beyond which he (Issa AHS) cannot go, and after that Muhammed SAW will go ahead and pray to Allah to have mercy on his sinful Ummah. So, in a way, since Issa AHS accompanies the Prophet PBUH to a point, Issa Alaikissalam CAN save us (a bit). That is important. (Every lil bit counts eh? ;) )
But nothing can save us more than our own good deeds. So while u part ways with yr Xmas pals, remind them of that as well.

No reason to run from that statement, it's rather an easy one. Christians believe that Jesus was a selfless man that saved humanity instead of saving himself.

Not if you believe that any such person (carnal, vengeful, sword-yielding warrior) could not be a prophet of God.

So then you and everyone else who thinks like you have thereby granted yourselves an open licence to shout as much abuse as you want. We can all justify our own misdemeanours, whilst having no hesitation in pointing the finger at others. Fine, have it your way.

I fail to see how you interpreted my posts as "shouting abuse". The only finger I am pointing is toward the hypicritical mocking of Jesus when one claims him as a prophet.

I wasn't suggesting that you had shouted abuse, only that your way of thinking was an open licence to do so. Anyway, i take the point you are making.
