When Muslim Men Can't Even...

Re: When Muslim Men Can't Even...

who do u even care if these guys say hi to you or not? If they dont wanna talk to you then fine. You don't talk to them either.

Re: When Muslim Men Can't Even...

There is a big difference between saying Hi and carrying a conversation with someone. I dont expect him to converse to me, because yeah, I know he probably feels uncomfy. No problem, I dont care to talk to him either if he's that traditional-minded of a person.

But saying hi is a polite gesture. I would say hi to anyone no matter how different their views are from mine.

Re: When Muslim Men Can't Even...

well maybe they are not polite enough to say hello. Big deal. I'll say you can live on without those guys saying hi to you. Move on.

Re: When Muslim Men Can't Even...

Bad boys are temporarily attractive, at the end of the day you want to settle down with homely nerd-types like Ravage.

Re: When Muslim Men Can't Even...

Lussi, who said I can't live my life without him saying hi? Or for any other guy for that matter? That wasn't the point of this thread.

Actually, I opened it partially, because I'm sure there are such guys on this website that are too shy to say hi or whatever their reason is. Just so that they know one girl's perspective.

Cat-woman - I agree.

Re: When Muslim Men Can't Even...

ooh so its for guys here who dont say hi to you. List their nick here and we can publicly pressure them to say hi to you.

Re: When Muslim Men Can't Even...

No you imbecile. Forget about it. You're too dumb, apparently, to understand the clear words that I write.

Re: When Muslim Men Can't Even...

lol..this is what i get called for trying to help you get some guys' attenmtion on GS..god damned ..last time i help someone...

Re: When Muslim Men Can't Even...

I actually feel sorry for the guy who cant say "hi"

maybe he was acting aloof?...most guys iv met love having a girl run around after them and need/want women to love them, need them and define them. I think some guys can be insecure too. They need to feel needed. Maybe he wanted you to say hello first

you pity such men and move on.

his loss he didnt say hello, not yours.

If it was a lass who did this to you, you'd be calling her a b*tch? some people just dont like saying hello first

Re: When Muslim Men Can't Even...

Miss Mohabbat - I totally would have said hello had he not looked at me and then turned his face away. By turning his face away, it was clear he didn't want any greeting even. At least that's how I interpreted it.

Re: When Muslim Men Can't Even...

ok so maybe he was playing hard to get, what if he didnt even see you...maybe there was some next lass standing behind you that put him off? maybe he knew he smelt bad and didnt want to embarass himself, who knows...theres so many maybes, pick which ever one you want :p

Understanding men and why they do certain things is a can that is best left closed.

Re: When Muslim Men Can’t Even…

Paranoia anyone?

Obviously this incident has affected your state of mind.

All that male-bashing and you were still compelled to ask him out.

Re: When Muslim Men Can’t Even…

i know he’s pakistani cus my mom’s friends with his mom. so i know what he looks like.

Re: When Muslim Men Can't Even...

Missy M: True.

Fita: I liked him, so I asked him out. He didn't seem to be the "typical" male at the time.

Re: When Muslim Men Can't Even...

Never ever ask a guy out. Trust me from a guy's perspective we don't have any respect for girls who make the first move.

It just isn't right.

Re: When Muslim Men Can't Even...

Too bad for you.

Re: When Muslim Men Can't Even...

I think you'll find that it's 'too bad for you', not me.

Re: When Muslim Men Can't Even...

No. Its good for me. I don't want to be with a man that is so close-minded.

Re: When Muslim Men Can't Even...

Errr, Fita, only insecure men have no respect for a woman that would ask them out, I married the man I asked out and still happy to this day. Why shouldn't we be able to ask someone out? We would be limiting ourselves drastically if we didn't.

PCG - look at it this way, if you didn't ask him out and go theough this, you never would have know what a jerk he was. It was for the better. God's way of making sure you are free and clear for the right guy.

Re: When Muslim Men Can’t Even…

Insecure men? You a shrink?

Do what you want love, I’m just saying most men don’t have much respect for women who make the first move.
