I agree with you completely, a healthy relationship will only work if both parties are willing to try and give their all.. but sometimes, one has to put a bit more effort into their marriage to feel the saving grace . My advice to those people is to be patient and give it some time. It took my friend 5 years to have a bless full marriage after tons of hard work, dedication, and high hopes. As long as your partner is not physically abusive, and your life is not in danger, it's okay to give it some time and stay positive.
