most muhajirs who came from india to pakistan before partition were belonging to shudhra cast eqv of punjabi bhangi choorhay, they saved themselves from upper hindu caste by converting to muslims and hence they were not untouchable any more. these shudhra zaat people who forgot their past in karachi in 1980’s used to tell their punjabi neighbours to give the house keys before fleeing to punjab from muhajirs wrath and massacare entrenched over to punjabis, pathans and even sindhi. thanks
