Status quo refers not to individuals, but to the system. Thought you knew that. There are plenty of good folks in status quo parties who want to change their party cultures but face internal resistance. Some leave, and some stay and hope for an eventual change. Guys like Saeed Ghani and Kaira in PPP are good examples. Hashmi was supposedly one in PMLN who left, but we can see what he turned out to be.
