Until the introduction of Islam, slave-trade was quite a profitable business for the arab pagans of the day.
The question is, are you actually serious, or have you totally lost it? Muslims, including the prophet and companions, were involved in the slave trade for centuries. So when did Islam declare slavery as unlawful? Post Quran? Post Muhammad? No, not until 1962 in Saudi Arabia.
