I agree, a lot of the reporting is very one sided. It paints large portions of the population with a single stroke, but you know, there is a serious preception problem. I think many Muslims recognize it, but most don’t. What the world sees is rampaging at silly cartoons, but nothing when hundreds are killed everyday in Iraq. One Palestinian is shot by an Israeli and the Islamic world takes to the streets, 230,000 Sudanese Muslims killed by fellow Muslims 2.3 million displaced, all within the last two years, and no protests, no marches, no calls for jihad.

You got part of my statement, the reporting is one sided here, and the reporting s one sided there i.e. the media there does not report some the stuff like in sudan the ay it does palestine or Iraq, news dont sell sensationalism sells, which is the same reaosn that media outlets here dont focus on things which dont scream..read me.

Thats just half or rather, less than half of the story. Statistically speaking wat is the likelihood that 3K people would come out and birn stuff and do this and that becaise of some tragedy in Pelestine, but silence rules when all that is going on on darfur gos on? The answer is simple, its certain political groups who orchestrate these things. To an avg joe or avg javed there is little interest in this, human in general are apathetic and busy wit their own lives, they may consider it tragic and talk about it as being such in their communities and at events but thats about it.

So when you see these ‘protests’ realize that in many cases these are paid ppl, bussed around by the political parties who just want to show their muscle to their foes and use this as a bargaining chip in getting power, seats, positions and stuff. Its about time thatavg muslims as well as their rabid critics both realize that.
