queer, not knowing doesn't mean that she is lying.
born as a muslim, or converted as a muslim doesn't mean that you will have Quran and Hadith-e-Mubarik saved in you like burning a DVD.

its a never ending learning process and you have to dig what ALLAH SWT like and doesn't like till your last breathe.

ps. who ever said jazak, well they are equally naive. and all i can say is ALLAH SWT hum sab ko hiadat day. Ameen.

or Jo Allah or us k rasool ko na maanay us per to Allah khud ghazbnaak hain ..to kissi kafir ko Salamtee ki dua daina goya Allah or us kay rasool kay dushman ko dua daina hay

but ume, hindu religion is fake, isn't it. heck they even worship rats. so that's not really a good reason. besides, something simple as saying hello to someone - and already such a big difference in what to do? yeh kaise hua?

What p_g said was correct and the proof for it is as follows:

Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Do not initiate the greeting of salaam to the Jews and Christians,..." (Sahih Muslim)

Anas ibn Maalik narrated that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “When the People of the Book say salaam to you (greet you by saying al-salaamu alaykum), say ‘Wa ‘alaykum’ (and unto you).’” (Sahih Muslim 14/144)

^ sharabi can you tell me where am i different than the mentioned hadith-e-Mobarik?

i mentioned the same that if queer (non-muslim) say Assalam-o-Alikum, then i will also send ALLAH SWTs blessings on him.

and if he says salam, i will also say salam.

and if he says hi i will also hello.

i no where mentioned that i am going first in greeting...why would i give em islamic greeting when i dont even know whether they even know what it is!

first read, then think and then please respond. i dont want SUCH non-muslims see us fighting on the things that are not even conflicting.

firstly, those hadeeths are about saying hello to jews and christians, but what about the rest of the kafirs? most kafirs on this planet are neither.

secondly, what is the context of the hadeeths? were these for all times or for a certain time of conflict between jews and christians of arabia and the new muslims?

thirdly, at any rate, i don't see these supporting PG's claim that it is forbidden to say salam to kafirs because it is a dua. can we get proof for that?

what ever is applied for current jews and christian, same will be applied to other non-muslims. (kafir is really a strong word).
the need of Islam was pragmatic, after two monotheistic religions failed to do what they were supposed to do. so the current dilemma is that you cant differentiate between current face Christianity, Judaism (and also many so called Islamic sects) than hinduism.
i am not getting what are you trying to ask. but Hadith-e-Mubariks are the sayings of Prophet Muhammad PBUH. and there are six major hadith-e-mubarik collectors who are considered valid ones.

Sahih al-Bukhari
Sahih Muslim
Sunan an-Nasa'i al-Sughra
Sunan Abi Dawood
Sunan al-Tirmidhi
Sunan Ibn Maja

Assalam-o-Alikum means Peace be upon you. its a dua. ofcourse who else will send the blessings, else than God. so its a common sense. *and PG statement is invalid, cuz if you say Asalam-o-Alikum to and i dont even know who you are or what is your religion...i mean i am not gonna get some direct revelation from ALLAH SWT that you are non-muslim. so i have to respond accordingly. *

mocking mostly, because this sort of stuff is ridiculous. the lengths to which people will quote scripture in circles to justify their prejudices even for things like a simple hello. but don't have a problem living in kafirland and enjoying life.
