What would you do if I put this in your living room :)
It is very nicely done painting, nice strokes , nice use of colors. I would love to put it in my living room. But it is beyond me to figure out what it is.
I know , I know that is the purpose of abstract art to make you think and touch your psyche and let you see whatever you want to see in that painting but there should be difference between Rorschach inkblot test and a painting.
so for me.... this above posted abstract is collecting some memories from the past... some of my my childhood.. that dark green was the color of our living room carpet from my toddler years till preteen... so it takes me home...
i have yet to figure out where the orange shock takes me and the subtle sea green.. and then later i'll see what the shapes are doing to me///
so it is sort of a contemplation.. a journey to my inner...

but thats all he has in him... inks splattered... see atleast he didnt lie to himself.. by using reds and greens.. he was true to himself na..
i like surrealism for a while, but to me no one can come close to duchamp’s pieces. he’s got a flair for them.
i like renaissance sculptors mroe. there was a doc about bernini last night on TV (excuse the grammatical structure) and his apollo and daphne was just breathtaking! :jano:
