not everyone has the same values we do. their sense of attractiveness is different then ours. why must we mock and scoff at them (mock and scoff seems to be our core value, so i suppose its ok in our culture).

Its true that African women usually have bigger/heavier hips and this is considered desirable by African men. In fact they are fairly put off by the modern western "flat" model type of figures that some younger African women strive for.

that's true for Pakistanis too. Infact, I would go as far as to say that most Pakistanis are chubby chasers

We must pay respect to our "healthy" punjabi women.

In punjab, if you are a fat...you are considered "healthy".

If you are thin, people assume that either you are 'sick' or come from a poor family.

I don't think that's the case nowadays is it? With the influence of bolly movies and holly movies....girls/women are more health and fitness conscious even in a place like Punjab.

you have to understand the culture and society that the women getting these enhancements come from, then no one will be making comments like "another feather in the respect-cap of women"- or so I hope.

Its not a matter of whats atractive in that culture, but the lengths ppl will go through to gain that "attraction. It's a twisted sense of "respect" to have songs that celebrate body parts, women to show off etc..Just because they happen to substitute one body part for another, doesn't make it any more acceptable or even respectful towards women.

I can't remember wht country in Africa it was but i read on bbc that they have fat camps, whr ppl send thr daughters to fatten up, in some cases they were forced fed :O this was all so that they wud get a gud suitor to marry them. A bit extreme i say but its part of their culture and wht the men there find attractive

For those of you saying its part of their culture and its what they find attractive, how many of you complain about how much light skinn is cherished amongst ppl in pak/india/bd? After all, light skin (or wanting to be) is a part of our culture and its what men and women both find attractive. If you're okay with this, then no more complaining about atta-face brides or Fair and Lovely ads.. :)
