Re: whats with this kissing on the cheeks greeting?
Faisal, I know it is generally not a normal practice in Pakistan however it is normal in a certain crowd and If you hangout with them then you know who is comfortable with cheek kissing and who is not. And let me tell you one thing, girls who are comfortable with it are the ones who will always come forward and will try to do it before you even think of doing it. So next time you are always well prepared :)
Seems like you dont have a problem with cheek kissing. Your issue is to determine when to do it or when not to. As I said earlier if you hangout with them then it shouldn't be an issue for you.
you make a lot of sense. i will try to follow your advice. right now the issue is that living in a new city, i am not familiar with most of the people hence the insecurity. if these were old friends, i would not think twice about offending them.

i grew up in n.nazimabad playing tape cricket. however through luck, i ended up in cambridge section where i became friends with some sind club burgers. it was only natural for me to be influenced by them.
It happens dude. Its just a phase. Where are you now?

easier said then done maam. i would rather be fake and have friends rather than be true to myself and be lonely in this big bad city.
