I’ve seen 2 already. The first one was ok. but this other one was too large. Almost the size of a single reply box.. So just imagine if more guppies started doing this. It wont look good is my opinion.
Both have been asked to remove images from their signatures. In addition, signature length should be three lines or less, as most of you already know.

I hope mine fits the standards.
And a very nice move to allow image sigs. Sigs represents the way a person represents his/her self/moods/emotions.
Now it is the responsibility of the GS members to keep it in limits.
Thanks to whoever has allowed image sigs. ( although this has been a stardard for all the other 99.9% forums)

I don think it is allowed now or was disallowed before, the option was never enabled here.
And still isn’t, when I check in the profile window, it shows tag id OFF? So I wonder now, how it is possible that members can add in the signatures…

Messages with image signatures just look plain ugly and immature. Isn't having a username, custom avatar and text signature enough to distinguish your online persona? As if a a million smilley thread wasn't enough, now we have to suffer though dumb looking signature graphics.

I think someone’s (some admin) taking panga with the image tag because of these images in signatures :bash: All the images have been disabled for a while

Bandoostaa looks like you live under a rock. As you should know that the custom title and avatar is changeable but not by a user himself, i.e you cant change it frequently to express your mood or feelings. Like i said before, i visited dozens of BB and forums and have NEVER SEEN a SINGLE one that doesnt allow user to customize the avatar/sig freely ... even a user with zero post can do that. And you cant impose your opinion over others ... if you dont like graphics there are plenty GS members who do. Its all amatter of choice, which should be given. If some one is afraid of the contents of the images in sigs, the offending user can be warned or banned. Its a norm with lots of forums. So thats no reason to impose restrictions even for those who have no willing to exploit this.
The reason i think GS doesnt allow images in sigs is coz it will increase the bandwidth consumption, as images can take a toll on consumption. The solution (may be) is to allow only hotlinked external url's of the images, that can conserve the bandwidth. Other than that i dont see any reasons blocking images.
