Nomi, are you against Naats and Nasheed altogether or only against the way they are conducted, such as inconvenience caused by blocking roads and streets and loud voices without caring if old or sick people may be around, and use of bollywood tunes in them?

I'm not halalifying any bollywood tune naats neither am I a fan of the trend.
Your point is noted and agreed with.
Sufism takes the cake for me. Bollywood naats could top the list for someone else. May be you and I find them cheap and start thinking of bollywood scenes upon listening to these naats, but someone else could find total peace and harmony in these nasheeds. T'is all I'm saying.
no one will and if they find God in bollywood, if they have do then they have to take a good hard look at themselves. If you cant leave superficial things for God well then you're best stick to sheela ki jawaani.
