I don't think there is an exact word-to-word translation for gossip. IMHO the closest you can get is "afwaahen phailaana".

jii, that's why i mentioned 'equivalent word...there is another word which is the closest word to gossip in my opinion and i am looking for that word...!!! :)

lagaaii bujhaaii is NOT equivalent to gossip.

lagai bujhaaii = chuGhal_Khorii, tohmat, bohtaan
