But guess what, the thread is 3 pages long, with 89 replies, on how everyone is envious he/she is going, or has gone to Pakistan.
“Im getting married next week”
And after posting this, the poster goes into ‘mayoon’, doesnt check her thread, gets married, doesnt have net access in her new home, or just doesnt have time, or just doesnt feel like logging on because shes so busy in her new life. But guess what, the thread has 293 replies, congratulating her on her marriage. Congratulating who? Shes not even there any more!
“Happy Birthday to so-and-so guppy”
This ones a kicker. Guppy A posts a ‘happy birthday’ thread for guppy B, who, in some cases, is not available, or even if he/she is available, just sits back and watches the flurry of congratulatory messages coming in. Thread posted by Guppy A, and replies posted by Guppy C, D, E, F, and so on. But Guppy B is nowhere to be found! What gives?
And heres the funniest kind…the poster that actually replies to their thread…

lol. and guess what i do usually write thinking as if no one is going to read my trashy posts, but guess what people actually do read em. whereas i never wrote for any. in fact not even for myself

Personal opinion:- The "funniest kind" serves as popularity test, and often reminds me of a certain Pakistani politician who vows to leave politics every year but takes back his decision in less than 24 hrs.
"I am leaving GS" has become the funniest statement. Just the idea of a person posting such thread and then sneaking in to see who has responded is hilarious.
