  1. What identifies those two men as “pious”…? Is it their beard? Nope. The topi on their heads? Nope. The tasbeeh in their hands? Nope. Looks like you just took a pic of 2 brown, Desi looking men and automatically assumed that they MUST be “pious” and Muslim as well. What a HUGE flaw in logic. FAIL.

  2. The 2 burqa-clad ladies do not necessarily guarantee that the two men are Muslim. They could even be Hindu. For all we know, they could even be atheist like YOU, Bobster.

So how is your fitness level, I was dealing with a family the other day and the 40ish mother of 3 was having a hard time climbing the 4 steps in front of our presentation center. I suspect the same fitness level from you..lol. I would rather poke my eyes out than to look at a 40ish unfit person.

I assume you’re referring to practicing Muslim male when you say maulvi. I had similar friend in college back in Pakistan and I met them all when I visited Pakistan last year. We hung out, talked about what was going on with our life. The only bad part was when they’d advise me on religion and praying but in their defense they didn’t know about me being an agnostic.

These guys did stay true to religious convictions for the most part like trying to not look at the ladies, praying and other bits. Which is not to say they’re not interested in girls. We just talked about it in a different fashion. Like, when are you getting married, yada yada yada. Not saying they’re perfect but they’re cool people to hang out with for the most part(talking about my bearded friends here).

Have you heard the saying, “All brawns and no brains?” It means all muscles and no brains. Keep on putting all your energy into your exercising, Bobby. It won’t make you a better debater on GS and that can already be seen by all the verbal jootay you’ve received on the forum. So how about a BE in civil, MBA in finance, Certified Master Builder and several dozen personal development courses sound? I must be really dumb in the mental faculty because I believe in working for success and not in tona totka..lol.

I was visiting Casablanca doing a trade show and made friends with some young ladies there, this maulvi participant would loudly say Lahul when he saw me walk by with girls. One day we heard screaming from the admin tent and turned out that the Maulvi assaulted a young lady who turned out to be the mistress of Ambassador of Pakistan. The ambassador was this General guy who was very close to Zia. I heard he was a real womanizer. I have done the religious drill and tableghi rai wind route and some of my friends were enforcers for JI militant branch called Ansar Ul Muslimeen and I also met with the killer commander sarwar(If I remeber his name correctly) etc. Never came across one I admired as a human.

It sounds like an overdose. You should have spent more money on INTERpersonal courses which would entail how to communicate intelligently, tactfully, and effectively with people of opposing viewpoints. Besides, personal development also includes examination of stereotypes and prejudices within oneself and making an effort to remove them…not perpetuate them.

I am not a real estate agent, I work for a multinational builder. Homes, engineering, finance are kind of related. Engineering doesn’t pay what I would like to make. My workdays are 5 and 6 hr days, 5 times a week. So best bang for my time.
