Re: Whats these girls thinking wearing clothes like that?
Your question is neither “appropriate” nor relevant because there was no mention of maulvis or tasbeehs in this thread prior to your “grand” entry.
But you couldn’t stop yourself from bringing up maulvis because you are so prejudiced toward them.
Women in general don’t like to be gawked at by maulvis or even non-maulvis. The maulvi at some point might snap out of it and realize what he was doing and utter an “astaghfirullah” over a tasbeeh bead. The humanist uncle, on the other hand, will proudly declare to the world that he oggled a “goddess”.
You tried your best to come across as intelligent by posing an “appropriate” question…but …fail again. Any videos or anecdotes you post will also be “inappropriate” because the thread is not about maulvis.
Re: Whats these girls thinking wearing clothes like that?
Don’t you have one foot already in your grave? And STILL fighting back with the logic of a middle-schooler. It’s okay. I’ve heard burhaapay main people act like a child. Carry on Bobster.
Re: Whats these girls thinking wearing clothes like that?
I know people who are failures in every facet of life think they are so smart. I am sure you would die if you even tried keeping up with my wife who also works out daily..lol
Re: Whats these girls thinking wearing clothes like that?
I don’t think they think
It’s just follow the fashion
But blame goes to pakistani fashion too
The ready-made clothes are messed up
The salwar is see-through
The kameez is made thin and short with high cuts
And if you buy your own clothes and have the tailor make it, it’s either too expensive or takes ages to get it done if not made not to your liking but to “ajj kal yeh fashion chal ra hai”
Re: Whats these girls thinking wearing clothes like that?
If someone is wearing tights and a knee length shirt over it, then they are ought to pull down their shirts when its windy. They are concerned about covering their bottoms that is why they wear long length shirts with tights. So there is no contradiction really.
And those who are not bothered about covering their bottoms, they just wear short shirts with tights.
Re: Whats these girls thinking wearing clothes like that?
I just came back from Lahore and tights with kurtas, tulip pants etc are the in thing. Unfortunately these women have to face wind etc. You can have clothes issues in wind, regardless of whatever you wear. My scarf sometimes falls off of my head, or at least tries too. Stop looking at women that closely, and you won’t have any issues.
Re: Whats these girls thinking wearing clothes like that?
In Bob’s posts one common theme is that, it is okay to have disparaging stereotypes for brown people - hence the sudden maulvi interjections, but the white man and his ways are beyond reproach.
Re: Whats these girls thinking wearing clothes like that?
This thread was NOT discussing hypocrisy until YOU entered it. This thread was NOT talking about maulvi behavior until YOU entered it. This thread was NOT discussing with display of piety until YOU entered it. It was ON TOPIC until YOU showed up. Even the OP did not mention his level of piety. I don’t know why it’s so hard for you to grasp that you need to stay on topic.
And why call out the maulvis when you oggle women too, Bob? Perhaps you believe yourself to be less of a hypocrite, but open and PROUD admission of oggling is not much better than the maulvi who chides others about it and does it himself on the sly. Open wrongs are not much better than secret wrongs. Wrong is wrong.
Re: Whats these girls thinking wearing clothes like that?
Casting a wide net aren’t you. I might have my disagreements with the religious but I don’t thinks stereotyping them all as pervs is appropriate. Maulvis are humans too and they come in all flavors.
Re: Whats these girls thinking wearing clothes like that?
I have lived a very engaged life and have yet to come across a flavor I like. It is not wide if it fits. If you have a nice one you can recommend, I am all ears.
