I have 2 such memories (Apart from the usual cuts , bruises, fractures )
3 broken ribs in a car accident, the year was 2003
I remember the first 3 or 4 days were so bad, that I was even afraid to sneeze or cough - as it almost killed me.
The slightest of movement would drain the last drop of energy, like turning over while in bed, trying to get up and walk to the washroom etc.
The second was the Kidney stones that I had in December 2007

I've never had anything that bad. I once got my finger stuck in the hinge of a gate and someone went to open it and chopped off the top of my finger like a guillotine, I don't remember feeling any pain (prob cos it was such a clean cut) and it was stitched back on pretty easily. My Mum (like a lot of desi Mums I guess) was a bit melodramatic tho, nearly had a heart attack, prob thought it would stop me from getting married or something..
"Smashed" left wrist, both bones shatered when i had a bike accident. Thats motorbike not pedal pushy! That was back in 1999.
I had to have pinns and plates bolted up to repair the broken bone, it would have been easier to cut of the hand.... but it's heeled surpirisingly well. I'm a boxer and it hasn't troubled me at all.
I also had a crossbow bolt through me it went just under the collarbone on my left shoulder and came halfway out the other side. It was a 9 inch bolt!
Oh and i've fallen from a flat rooftop in Pindi. I dampened the impact with my head. Blood came out the back of it and i still have a lump but i was only a little boy then...... i don't think it affected me much.
Funniest injury i ever had was a cricket ball smack me right in the face and spread my nose like lurpack..... Ouch, it wasn't funny at the time for me. But i have it on video i literally back-flipped when it hit me! I should post it up... it looks very funny. But i've broken my nose three times twice while fighting.
Oh and now for something normal? i had apandcitis, you know had to have my spleen taken out and all that sicko stuff. It means i have a very weak immune system i think? anyway it was never explained properly....... not that i was listening i still rub clay and spit over my cuts, so i can talk! hehehhe

Well my three most worse incidents are, one when i was in high school, i slipped inthe kitchen and i hit my head on the door handle and my head was pretty damaged and the danger was k it ruptured one of the main vains to my brain .. i bled out for about an hour, was in hospital for 3 weeks.
but before this ..i was in pak .. about 9 .. i fell off the roof ..kinda slipped and i hit my head again lol on a pik axe .. i thought i was a gonner .. but Allah ne bachaa liya . Sachi mein bachon ka to Allah hi haafiz hota hai ..
third most horrific one was just recent on august 28 5pm 2007, motorbike accident ..so bad k it was a head on collision with a minibus in pakistan and literally flew off the motorbike and fell around 10meters ffurrther from actuall point of coilision.. and i sprained my neck ..luckly i had a school bag type bag behind which had some cloths in it so when my head hit the ground .. the bag acted as a support and prevented my neck from snappying .. two years later i still have this pain in my neck .. and i got away with my left hand having 12 stitches ..and left me a scar for life ..
well thas about it ... apart from the other minor bumps and bruises from playng football.

Motor-bike or pushy bike?
I can cope with a pushy-bike fall easyily enough, hit the floor and roll baby!
Unless it's back home in Pindi, then you roll into the path of a truck, bad move.
On a motorbike even at a comfortable cruising speed of say 50-70 mph you hit something,slip,fall or whatever then quickly say your prayers and prepare to say goodbye to your limbs!
To have got away with just a pinky fracture is very lucky, even if it was a pushy bike, Pakistan is no place to ride one anyway unless your real good so hats of to you bro.
As a 10-year-old: Got hit by a car while crossing the road. Was hospitalized for one week, but didn't really have any injuries apart from a minor concussion.
As a 21-year-old: Was hospitalized for 3 weeks due to a pancreatitis. I was not allowed to eat/drink during those 3 weeks and was only fed by infusions. I lost 6 kgs in those 3 weeks.
Car accident in 1993, ended up in hospital for a month.
Got hit on a bike. Lower leg both bones were fractured. then doc's put a steel rod in the bone. which stayed there for 2 years (stilll have it on my desk) it was removed later.
I couldn't move for 2 weeks, clamped onto bed. Even slightest movemet would cause such a pain.

Jee gizzy that must have hurt...... how old were you when this happened? why did they take the rod out afterwards if you were an adult at the time surely your bone wouldn't have healed properly after that, surely you'd have a terrible distorition without the rod?
Oh well maybe the wonders of modern medicine fixed it all up...... i wish my bones were as strong, maybe they are it's just i keep breaking them too often to let them heal properly!
Fractured my left leg in a car crash. Although it was a hairline fracture and got healed pretty fast but it still hurts.
People are right bone related injuries will hurt you all your life.
