I went to a Kurdish wedding - the most horrible experience! The couple had invited the entire Kurdish population in the city and the room was awfully small! We were more than 1000 people jam-packed in a room that was meant for max 400! I couldn't breath at all! There was basically no air in the hall because we were too many people! It was basically hell, which got worse when they tried to give food to the people - not enough food and those who were lucky got a small plate with some rice and chicken, very small amount. I never forget when I tried to go home, I litterally got stuck between all these people, most of them were mad because of the situation, you couldn't even hold your hand out straight because it was this packed - I don't know how I managed to get out of there sahi salamat. Usually Kurdish weddings rock but this was a terrible experience - why invite 1000s when you don't have the facilities?
